南漳县今年的高考生中有一名特殊的复读生叫陈明（化名），他因被医院误诊而错过了去年的高考。为此，法院不仅判决医院赔偿他诊病的各项费用14万多元，还判令医院赔偿了他的复读费用。

去年4月，高三应届生陈明腹痛发烧，入住南漳县一家医院，院方诊断为阑尾缺失,转至另一医院求治，仍被诊断为阑尾缺失。此后，陈明的病情恶化，因阑尾坏死引起腹胫感染，腹腔脓肿形成肠瘘，后转至襄樊市一家医院治疗才康复。陈明前后住院治疗76天，错过了当年的高考，去年不得不复读高三。

经湖北省医学会鉴定，南漳县两家医院的误诊构成了四级医疗事故。陈明告到法院索赔。上月，南漳县人民法院一审判决两家医院共赔偿陈明各项损失——18万多元的80%，并支付陈明的复读费用2290元。目前，两医院正在逐步支付赔款。

据悉，此案判决支持复读费，在全国尚属首例，是对医疗损害赔偿范围的一个突破
